San Bartolo is a tourist complex made up of four apartments
and a hayloft, recently restored with great care and taste,
immersed in the classic landscape of the Chianti, in the
heart of Tuscany.
All of the apartments are very comfortable and well-equipped.
Two of these have been made from an old tower house inside the
medieval walls that surround the old village of Barberino
Val d'Elsa.
The other three housing units are found just 100m beyond the
Porta Fiorentina, in a stone building that faces the Via
Cassia that joins Florence and Siena (in the
Middle Age was known and famous as 'Via Francigena') on
one side, and the stunning landscape of the hills
of Val d'Elsa from the other.
On this side you find an equipped courtyard with space
for the apartments, the hayloft and, a little downhill, the beautiful
pool in a fine positon overlooking the surrounding countryside.
The complex is also only 18 km far from S. Gimignano, 35
km from Florence, 40 km from Siena, 45 km from Volterra.
